Dear Mrs.Zrihen,
The book that I am reading is called,"Princess Diana," by Joanne Mattern. A quote that I thought meant a lot to me was," Always be yourself," on page 24, because to me it meant that you should always believe in yourself and never put yourself down by saying you can never do something. The reason people always say that they can't do something, is because they either hear it from other people, or don't have a lot of hope in themselves. I think this book really inspired me because it also reminded me about how I always put myself down. I would do a lot of things, before, during, and after reading a book. Before reading a book, I would look at the cover to see if it looks interesting, and also read the synopsis to see if the book has a hook to it. While reading a book, I would put a sticky note on every page that I thought had a great quote or meaning to it, and put sticky notes on pages with words that I don't understand, so I can look them up after and see what the book meant by that. Last but not least, After reading a book, I would look up all the words, and then write a readers journal, about what the book is about. The main characters in the book are Princess Diana, Prince William, Prince Harry, and Prince Charles. The setting of this story takes place in Sandringham, United Kingdom, where she was born. Princess Diana's parents divorced in 1969 and her mother ran away so her father had full custody for her and her three siblings. She was home-schooled until the age of nine. Princess Diana married Prince Charles on July 29,1981 and got divorced on August 28,1996. They had two boys named William which is the oldest, and Harry. That is the life of Princess Diana. My point of view of this book is, that I chose it because I think that Princess Diana did a lot in life. This book was inspiring to me, because I never knew that someone can have such a good heart and put it all to good use instead of yourself. She is a person that truly cares about the world. I would rate this book a 10-10 because I like that she puts people first instead of herself and always gives to others. I recommend this book mainly for girls because I don't really thing boys would care about Princesses, but that is only my opinion. I really enjoyed reading this book and I hope everyone will love it just as much as I do.
Sincerely,
Danielle Ben-David
